The Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) is a nonprofit that has played a critical role in community-based health care since 1934. We provide hospice and palliative care, nutritious meals and social connection for homebound seniors and serve as the premier aging resource for North Texas. Our mission is to help people age with dignity and independence at home. Programs include :Hospice Care We help terminally ill patients and their families create a caring and pain-free environment for their loved ones no matter where they call home. Palliative Care Our palliative care team helps enhance our patients’ quality of life, ensures they have the resources needed during treatment, and helps patients and families navigate complex health care system. Meals on Wheels We provide nutritious home-delivered meals and a human connection for our clients, helping combat loneliness and social isolation, as well as improving their overall health.
